How to Hand Sew a Tank Top
A Zine
With your own two hands, you can stitch a soft, sturdy knit tank top to wear for years to come.
In this 21-page, hand-illustrated zine, you'll learn how to prepare a pattern for hand sewing, how to staystitch, and how to cut bindings. Then follow along and construct an entire garment using four simple hand stitches: running stitch, backstitch, overcasting, and whipstitch. Before you know it, you'll be slipping into a beautiful new top.
This project is the perfect launching point for many other hand-sewn garment projects, including stretchy knits. The sky is the limit!
Start with your own two hands and a few simple tools, and see where your hand sewing adventures take you.
